October 16th can't come quick enough! Oh god. I never really anticipate movies, or TV shows...but this...THIS...oh god. I will probably be taking the day off to see this even. Yeah..it'll be like my 2nd birthday of the year. Care to join?

Holy shit! I gave up on this movie last spring when IMDB leaked stories of extreme internal controversy. Spike Jonze wasn't giving the movie studios what they expected. Execs thought is was too dark. Funding was pulled, a child actor was nearly replaced, puppets were mechanically complicated, etc. So pumped now to see plans are moving forward again.
Next great movie: "Life of Pi" directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amélie). Read that book!
I want to come back and see it with you... I am home sickies.
